I grew up in a large extended family in the wilds of North Dakota where I grew to love the beauty in landscapes and people. I discovered my love of photography traveling in the jungles of Brazil and the outback of Australia. Some of the things that keep me ticking are hiking, sea kayaking, xc skiing, and a perfect espresso or robust red wine.
The love I share with my family, friends and partner is what makes this life beautiful and is what I treasure most. This belief is part of the reason I have so much passion for photographing weddings and families. Let's take this opportunity to celebrate life and love, together with the special people in your life.
406 Photo is a business driven by passion. a passion for artistic expression, for telling stories, and preserving life's precious memories. After earning a degree in photography, I began pursuing photojournalistic projects. It was satisfying to see my work in print, but what I earned was disheartening to say the least. One day my mum suggested I try photographing a wedding. I thought it was a terrible idea but I was very wrong. I loved it and haven't turned back!
Eight years later I'm still as passionate about wedding and portrait photography as ever. I still get excited before every session thinking about the possibilities.
Memories can fade, but photographs let moments live on. At 406 Photo we create an experience so our clients feel relaxed and taken care of throughout the process. From our initial meeting and to the planning stage of selecting images for your wall and album, we will be there. I want you to relive and feel what you felt years from now when you look at your album and photographs long after technology has changed.
